Chris has served on the RTM for 14 years (7 terms) and has held a variety of leadership positions over that time. He has chaired subcommittees and served as Moderator for a term and also Minority Leader. He currently serves on the Public Services Committee with oversight of Departments such as Public Works and the Fire Department. Both of his children attend Walsh Intermediate School and he is the husband to the science coach for 5-12 grades in Branford. Chris currently works as the Executive Director of a regional 501c3 non-profit serving New Haven and Fairfield Counties. His organization is focused on natural resource issues and working with the agricultural producers and municipal landuse staff. He believes the most important issues facing Branford are connected to climate change and greenhouse gas emissions and he believes the current administration is not doing enough in these realms. Chris also gives much of his time coaching with the Branford Soccer Club.
